Preview-only test mechanism
This page creates a safe, simulated payment state for manual end-to-end testing. It does NOT charge a real card, alter the real payment flow, or affect real customer orders. All test records are tagged is_bot_test=true to suppress notifications.
Enter a real email address you control — you'll need to receive the OTP verification code to complete account creation. Gmail plus-addresses work great (e.g. yourname+guesttest001@gmail.com).
This email must NOT already have a portal account — the test proves the new-account branch. Use a fresh plus-address if you've tested before.

Use a Gmail plus-address you control (e.g. yourname+guesttest001@gmail.com). You'll need to receive the OTP code at this address.
Open an Incognito / Private browser window
You must be completely logged out — no existing session.
Navigate to the app using the Base44 Testing Link
Use the Base44 builder preview/testing URL — NOT the published production URL. The admin test-control page (this page) can remain in your authenticated builder session.
Click "Custom Tune" and complete the wizard
Select a vehicle category, platform, product, and enter vehicle details. On the Contact step, paste the test email you entered above. Tip: EZ Lynk products are easiest — they don't require year/make/model.
Click "Proceed to Payment" on the Review step
The order is created and you're redirected to Wix checkout. You do NOT need to complete the Wix checkout — just let it load, then come back here.
Come back to THIS page (your authenticated builder session) and click "Simulate Payment" below
This marks the test order as paid server-side — same state as a real verified webhook, with notifications suppressed.
Copy the /order-complete URL shown below and open it in the Incognito browser
You'll see "Payment Confirmed" → "Create your account to access your tune".
Click "Create Account" and complete registration with the test email
The email is pre-filled and locked. Set a password, then check your inbox for the OTP code. Enter it to verify. Your paid test order will link to the new account automatically via linkGuestOrders.
You're redirected back to the order — now fully accessible as an authenticated customer
You'll see the order summary, "My Orders" and "Open Chat" buttons. The portal is now functional for this account.
Click this after completing step 4 (reaching Wix checkout in the incognito browser). This finds the most recent pending order for the test email and marks it as paid.
After finishing the test, click this to delete all test records (order, customer, vehicle, chat thread, files). The test User account may need manual deletion from the dashboard.
