2022-2024 Cummins ECM Clone-Swap/Unlock Service

This is an IN-HOUSE ONLY ECM swap/unlock service for 2022–2024 RAM Cummins trucks.
You must ship both ECMs to us for this service.

What You Must Send

Your original 2022–2024 ECM (must be the native ECM from the truck being tuned)

A 2019–2021 donor ECM that will be used in the 2022–2024 chassis

⚠️ If the 2022–2024 ECM you send is not the original ECM from the truck, this service will not work.

What This Service Does

When paired with a 2019–2021 donor ECM, this service allows your 2022–2024 Cummins to be custom-tuned using EFI Live or EZ-Lynk.

We do this by:

Cloning/swapping the stock vehicle data from your 2022–2024 ECM

Writing that data onto the 2019–2021 donor ECM

This makes the truck tunable as a 2019–2021 Cummins platform.

Turnaround Time

2–3 business days once both ECMs are received

Please plan vehicle downtime accordingly

After the Service

Once you receive the ECMs back:

You will order tuning as a standard 2019–2021 Cummins tune

Tuning is not included with this service

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this remove emissions?

No.
This is only one step in the tuning process. Emissions changes depend on the tuning file applied afterward.

Can I run the donor ECM with all emissions equipment?

No.
The donor ECM requires a base file to function.

Recommended options:

Send the donor ECM to us now so it’s unlocked and ready when you decide to tune

Continue running your original ECM in the truck until tuning is desired

Optional: we can apply an emissions-on base file to the donor ECM

How do I know if my donor ECM will work?

The donor ECM must have part number:

4384696

If it does not, it will not work.

Will this work with HP Tuners?

No.
This service supports EFI Live and EZ-Lynk only.

Can the donor ECM be brand new or does it need to be programmed?

Blank donor ECMs are preferred

Pre-programmed ECMs can work if compatible, but blank is ideal
